Pro Minerals appoints Adrian O’Brien President-COO

Pro Minerals Inc. (TSX.V Symbol – “PRM”), and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian O’Brien as the company’s new President and COO, effective immediately. Mr. O’Brien will also retain his position as a Director of the company. The appointment of Mr. O’Brien follows the resignation of Christopher Chu as President and Chairman of the company effective September 4th, 2009. Mr. Chu has agreed to remain as a director of the company. Mr. Chu has stepped down from his position in order to focus on other business. The board of directors of Pro Minerals thanks Mr. Chu for his contributions the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Mr. O’Brien has more than 11 years experience in the mineral exploration sector, having been directly involved in corporate finance, project acquisition and development, business development, as well as corporate communications. Mr. O’Brien will be responsible for the day to day operations of Pro Minerals and will be working closely with Pro Minerals’ exploration and geological consultants to develop strategies to fully explore the potential of its properties.
