Vancouver, BC - Thursday, January 14th, 2010, 4:00 pm PST
Pro Minerals Inc. (TSX.V: PRM); and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the Company has now completed an $847,262.43 Cdn non-brokered, non flow-through, Private Placement through the issuance of 9,414,027 units at a price of $0.09 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one 36 month share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable at $0.10 per share if exercised within the first 24 months and at $0.12 if exercised in the remaining 12 months. Finders’ fees may be paid on this transaction, subject to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. The proceeds raised will be applied to the Company’s exploration programs as well as general working capital. All shares issued will be subject to a 4 month hold period per the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. This private placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Lac Laura Gold Project Acquisition

Pro Minerals Inc. (TSX.V: PRM); and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the company has entered into an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the “Lac Laura Gold Project”, from Apella Resources Inc. The property consists of 36 mineral claims located in Levy Township, near Chapais Quebec. The property is located directly alongside the highway between Chapais and Chibougamau and is road accessible year round. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Pro Minerals can acquire a 100-percent interest in the Lac Laura Gold Project by paying the optionor a total of 2,000,000 common shares of the company (1,000,000 upon acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange and 1,000,000 by October 5th, 2010) and work commitments as follows:
